Change Your Mindset, Change Your Life
The Fundamentals Of The Law of Attraction
Have you ever heard of the saying, “The world is at your fingertips?”
I’m sure you have. Nearly every kid has been told that by a well-meaning teacher or guidance counselor and the walls of waiting rooms across the country are emblazoned with that quote.
Reality, however, isn’t quite that simple. Many are largely unsatisfied with their lives, not content with their current job or financial situation or even with their relationship status. They yearn for the day when they can finally live out the life that they always dreamed of having – one where wealth is abundant, happiness and satisfaction are constant, and luxuries are the norm.
But have you ever stopped to think why a life led with joy and content remains a daydream? Why most people fail to land their ideal jobs? Why cold and loveless relationships exist? And why only a chosen few can boast of their bank accounts having millions?
Without a doubt, privilege and personal circumstances play a role in your discontent with the life you lead, however, it’s important to acknowledge that mindset, as well as the Law of Attraction, have a hand in it too.
In the simplest of terms, the Law of Attraction is the belief that the universe gives and provides that which is given and provided back. Basically, it means that if your internal thoughts and sentiments are positive, then you’ll receive nothing but positive things in return.
Well, here are three reasons why you’re still not getting what you want out of life.
You Bask In Negative Feelings
The basic principle of the Law of Attraction is that like attracts like, which means that if your inner state is one of peace and tranquility, then your reality will follow. Conversely, if you hold onto feelings of doubt, anger, guilt, and frustration, then your life will feel the same.
Pro Tip: A positive attitude only leads to positive results.
You’re Obsessed With Failure
Failure is inevitable – necessary, even, for us to grow and develop as individuals. However, there are people who are too focused on their failures, unable to move on and allowing such experiences to define them. Because of this, they adopt a defeatist mindset, believing that the only thing they’ll ever accomplish is failure.
Pro Tip: Change your life and attract success by believing that you’ll be successful, no matter what.
You’re Not Willing To Work
A positive mindset doesn’t immediately guarantee successful results, though. Achieving your goal requires you to actually work for them; it means overcoming obstacles and going through challenges in a bid to attain whatever it is that you want. It will undoubtedly be a long and arduous process but if it culminates in your desired outcome, then it would have been worth it.
Pro Tip: Positive thinking is great and effective but don’t forget to work to make your dreams happen too.
